A quick review of Miami...by a Georgia Boy...
Well, It's been a great week here!
Some places I found awesome... Restaurants: Joe's Stone Crab...I had the stone crab. It was nice. The Key Lime pie was freakin delicious. The people and ambiance were very positive. Area Code 55...Awesome. Brazilian style meat place. Cantina27...sucked ass. Sucky service and even worse pizza. I was very disappointed. Cigar places: El Titan De Bronze...AWESOME. People were friendly and the lady there was knowledgeable and helpful. She was excited to tell me about Pepin's place across the street...sounded like she was interested in making sure that I had the full experience on Calle Ocho. No pressure to buy the products, but I did anyway...very nice cigars!!! The rollers were hilarious, throwing stuff at each other, rolling away... El Rey de Los Habanos...nice people. I got a couple tat reservas right off the table to buy. I felt like I was interrupting them, and that they wanted me to take off, so I left. La Gloria Cubana: I walked in and there was a guy rolling cigars to put in a mold. No one said anything to me, so I left. It was desolate. The Palms is a great place to stay. Very hospitable. The restaurant was overrated in my opinion....but the room and amenities made up for it. All in all, I LOVE this place! ha! 800th post!
