I am quickly finding this to be an "industry" buzz word. I have never worried about it, but I have recently tried it my last few smokes. I do not exhale through my nose, but I "smell" the cigar by taking a sniff with my nose while I have smoke in my mouth. I catch more of the cigar's character that way.
Start mild-medium, I agree. I did that the other night with a Cain Daytona and HOLY MOLY.
