When I was a teenager back in the seventies, I was visiting an aunt in another city. She was very excited because she bought tickets for her kids (younger) and my brother and I to go to the Bay City Rollers.

We were horrified.

But, wanting to spare her feelings and not alienate our younger cousins who were HUGE fans, and knowing we were several hundred miles away from home, we agreed to go.

So there we were, amongst many thousand screaming kids. The lights dimmed, and on the screen behind the stage there appeared an image:

Plaid.

The crowd went crazy.

Long story short, I've seen worse shows (give me a little time to think of one...), and I can now say, 30 years later, that I have EXPERIENCED the Rollers.
