Curtis Mayfield- Superfly Jimmy Cliff- The Harder They Come the 25th anniversary edition of Superfly is awesome. Curtis was an amazing songwriter. |

A few of my favorites, although I'm not sure they should qualify as soundtracks in the context you probably mean......
A Hard day's Night Great Balls of Fire The Buddy Holly Story I suppose these are actually just "excuses" for soundtracks with the music actually being the title character. .......but I love the music!

....No, not the Brittainy Spears movie! .....The one I'm thinking of had Ralph Macchio kid in it along with Steve Vai........with some great music by Ry Cooder.
