UPDATE-Tiny critters crawling in bottom of coolerador.
Looks like the damage is wide spread. Notice tiny crawly things in almost all boxes of cigars stored in the cooleradors accompanied with varied degrees of minor dust. I do not see any pin head sized holes in the cigar wrappers, however I noticed what looks like pin head size tunnels at the foot of the cigars.
I am at the point where I am considering tossing every box that is contaminated. I started the freezing process. While this process will kill off all the existing beetles, will my cigars be smokeable after this is done, even the contaminated ones? I am unsure what to do. All comments are appreciated. Just as a side note, this was caused by my lack of attention in inspecting the coolerador more regularly.... the humidification was just too high for too long of a period. Thanks! Rob aka-PuroRob |
