Heh guys i am new to the forum. Through a friend i was given a catalog to look at the humidors. He explained that the cigars were little costly but the accessories were priced well. He has never done business with them. Has anyone had good or bad experience's with thompsons. I am having to use a tuppordor for now. Is there anywhere else anyone would recommend to get a decent humidor for a discounted price

Use the Thompsons for a good laugh. Not worth much more. SP listed a good site.
Welcome.

What these guys said. Plus, try cheaphumidors.com. Everyone I know who's bought one has been pleased with it.

Thompson's humidors work, but are too highly priced (example - I got there $100 seventy five count for $45 at Sams).
Go to www.bargainhumidors.com before you do ANY shopping! If the budget is tight, check his 'imperfects'. You won't be sorry...

I'd strongly recommend bargainhumidors. I received exceptional service from them.
As a caution, I would strongly recommend AGAINST purchasing from cheaphumidors. I placed an order with them (in stock item) and didn't hear anything for 8 days. Sent an email inquiring about my status--three more days go by and still no response. I sent a second email and finally received a response 3 days later. I had even paid extra for 2nd day shipping. STAY AWAY FROM CHEAPHUMIDORS!! That said, bargainhumidors has exceptional product, price and service. |

I have to agree with danewby. I ordered an "in stock" Xikar cutter from cheaphumidors.com and it took over a month to get to me. That's unacceptable IMHO. I would stay away from them also.
I know it's been said already, but try bargainhumidors.com. I've got nothing but good things to say about them. Good luck on the upgrade! Dave
