Quick fix for an old school Zino double guillotine cutter
I got this Zino cutter back around 2000. It is an excellent cigar cutter. But it had one annoying flaw. The tiny brass colored screws popped out easily, even after using locktight to better secure the screws to the cutter. But if you tightened the screws too tight, the cutter became difficult to use. So you kept the screws a bit loose and hoped the locktight secured the screws. Many of us who used this cutter regularly eventually lost screws.
Here is a quick fix. Use a paper clip to make a twist to replace the lost screw. Works great. You will not be able to put the cutter in your pocket since the metal twist will cut holes in your pocket. Will make a great table cutter. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk |
