Gawith & Hoggarth, Best Brown #2 Flake

I got this tobacco back in 2010, decided to give it a try. It comes as a flake but over time it has broken up in the jar. Lots of sugar crystals in this tobacco. I made the broken flake into loose plug balls and stuffed it into the pipe. It draws well with this method.

The aroma in the jar is very sweet smelling. At first puff there was this perfume/flowery flavor that was a bit strong. This is the "lakeland" flavoring they use on this tobacco. After a third of the bowl, this flavoring was more of a footnote and the sweet, peppery flavors came alive. This tobacco is rich in sweet flavors and burns well. I highly recommend this tobacco but some folks might not like the flowery/perfume lakeland flavoring.
