Thanks to TOJE, I was able to procure one of each size this past week and smoked the CORONA GORDA (not sure of the name) size this weekend. Here is a quick run down:
This is one good looking cigar with a colorado wrapper and typical, top-notch CAO presentation. The cigar is tissue wrapped and smells wonderful. Prelight draw was excellent. The cigar has earthy flavors that remind me of the Cammie's, but without the nauseatingly sweet cammie flavor...if that makes any sense. The flavor was a bit on the bitter side, but not enough to be a distraction. I would NOT call this cigar full strength, although it is flavorful. It has a medium punch to it...if you want a nicotene overdose, go elsewhere. Frankly, I found this cigar to be good, but not exceptional. Nice flavors, medium strength and excellent construction make it an average to good cigar. The hype is not worth it, in my opinion. I much prefer the Brazilia line, although I realize that it may be a subjective preference. If given the chance, I would NOT buy a box of these especially at the current price. I still have one of each of the other sizes and I am hoping they impress me more than this vitola. Good cigar, but not anything to be too excited about.
