Hmm, this is a tough one.

I know the first cd's I bought were

Montley Crew - Hysteria
Metallica - ...and Justice For All

First tapes, hmmm

Prince - 1999
Jacksons - Victory

All very fuzzy!

Why is it everyone else's first album was a cool album except mine? Man, I was stuck on the Partridge Family, and Susan Dey. But I was 10 years old, too.

Steve Martin-Wild and Crazy Guy (yes, I know this is the Smokin Tunes room...You said "album"
I was 8 or 9...My parents actually allowed me to buy it...I was a huuuge Steve Martin fan...Between the covers of the album (I peeled it open), there was an autographed picture of the man himself

the first one i saved up allowance $ to buy was Elvis' Comeback Special. It was my first rock and roll experience, watching it on NBC, and was blown away by it. My mom had a ton of elvis albums id listen to, but this was the first one i bought. Still remember the purchase, the experience. i was 6.
