Tobermory Distillery & the Isle of Mull

A wonderful place in Scotland to visit! Have yourself a 'look' by reading this week's Cigar Weekly featured piece on the Home Page...

Doug,

I just finished reading this article. You've outdone yourself with this one. I like all of your articles, but this one really spoke to me. Your description of the land, the people, the history . . . it's beautiful. Great job.

By the way, if you could only buy one, which one would it be?

Of those I've tasted, certainly the 15-year old Tobermory. It possesses a lovely mouth-feel and displays a complex flavour progression to boot. A fine after-dinner sort of whisky.

Of the newer editions I've not tried, that 16-year old Ledaig finished in Sherry oak looks very interesting - especially given that it's bottled at cask strength. Bonus!

Thanks. I might stop by the liquor store on the way home.
