They will drip a bit at first unless you ad it VERY gradually. If my humidity drop in the coolerdor (1 lb beads) I usually just take a piece of cedar (A divider from a box), dip it into water and throw it in wet. Thebeads absorb the moisture and youre humidity goes back up a few percent.
If it goes down a lot a shotglass or soemthing with water in it will work. - Sean
