I have a complete temperture and humidity controlled environment for my smokes. I have scientifically calibrated hydrometers -- not to tell me humidity (RH), but more so to alert me to changes. I've never had any problem with my any of my humidor space (3 different locations).

Anyway, my point is, we are talking about scientific instruments which are designed to have deviation. Always has been and always will be. I've seen the old China Whites/Blacks work and be accurate, and other inexpensive hydrometers. The pens, in my experience, have been perhaps the most accurate, but that too is not my point.

There are two issues here -- one, that being of educational information and the disseminating of same. The second with that being done with a "commercial" slant.

Mike, no offense, but you seem to be the only one who doesn't have a problem with this whole thing. Let it go already. You are a well respected retailer here and I am sure you have helped out numerous members, cutomers, clients, etc. There really is nothing to gain here.
