Anyone want to do an Antietam review?
This is a continuation of my earlier post.
Does anyone that has one want to do a review (even with pics)? I know Mike has taken a beating on many boards (probably rightfully so), but I'd like to hear a review of the actual product, minus the jazz about customer service, etc. Thanks. I have one, got it a couple weeks before Christmas. I seasoned it like Mike suggested, just putting bowls of water on each shelf for a couple of weeks. This seemed to work out fine. I now have about 35-40 loose Habanos in the top drawer, about 40 Opus/VSG in the second, and 8 boxes in it. There is room for more loose cigars and boxes. Numbers are deceiving since the size of the cigars/boxes vary. The rh is probably at 64-66 (who knows exact with ANY gauge). The cigar oasis works great, the cigars are very smokeable and are just how I like them. For the money, I don't think you can beat it

Few questions
Marc,
Does it have even humidity, even in the top drawers? Are the bottom of the drawers slotted? Where is the oasis, on the bottom? Thanks bro! |

Even humidity I don't think it is big enough to have different rh in different sections. All the shelves are slotted so the air flows freely. I put the oasis on the bottom shelf, but you can put it on the moveable shelf if you like. The drawers and shelves sit on wooden pegs that are removable. You can have no drawers or shelves in it if you want. I think there are 4 or 5 positions for the box shelf. I can take pictures and email them to you if you like.

Please email me your email addresses, I can't send pictures through this email system, I think. Email them to bwlifestyles@aol.com Thanks, Marc

I'd be happy to review an Antietam if someone will send me one.
