For Christmas? I thought it might be interesting to see what albums we'll be digging out for the holidays. Here are a couple fo my favorites;
(1) Soundtrack to Charlie Brown's Christmas (2) Acapella Christmas (GLAD) (3) Amy Grant's Christmas Albums (the earliest one is the best) (4) In the Manger (Emmy Lou Harris) (5) My "Time-Life" series with Burl Ives, the King singing Blue Christmas, etc. "If you don't know where you're going, you could end up someplace else." - Yogi Berra

The only "Christmas" music that I own is a CD by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I may even go see TSO when they come to town this year.

I'm typically a Scrooge when it comes to Christmas music 'cause there are so many bad version of classics out there and it's overused in malls, TV ads, and such. There are a couple I like though:
- A Charlie Brown Christmas, by the Vince Guaraldi trio - George Ballanchine's _The Nutcracker_, the New York City Ballet Orchestra's recording of the Tchaikovsky suite.

Seriously, there are too many "favorites" for me to narrow it down and list a few here. I have a fairly large selection of Christmas music to choose from.....some of the one's mentioned here are among my favorites.....Vince Guaraldi Trio, Charles Brown, Amy Grant.....along with Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Aaron Neville, Harry Connick,Jr.....etc.etc.
.......I like Christmas music.

Mannhein Steamroller and Burl Ives mostly. I've got a couple CD's from Reader's Digest that have a nice mix of older songs.
