Solid spanish cedar humidor

Im going to build a small (a little less than eight cubic feet) cabinet humidor and was wondering if anyone here knew of any draw backs to making the entire unit out of spanish cedar. The only thing I could think of was the porosity of the wood and I figured that if I sealed it that should not be an issue. Any thoughts?
