Hi gang. I have a friend who has a nice desktop humidor, that he has been using as a misc. storage box. I commented on it, he offered it to me for $15. Its a nice cherry finish 75 count box. BUT... he was storing some cleaning rags and oil, gun cleaning stuff in it. When you open it, you can smell it. A little may even have spilt in the bottom. Now, my question is, will this wear off if I leave open for a couple days? OR, should I just forget it and not risk storing cigars in it? I need a humidor, but dont wanna spend too much on it if I can help it. I'd Rather put the money into cigars. I've been using a small 25 count desktop, but the seal is crap. I know I can find em online for $50 or so, I just didn't know if I could salvage this one. Whatcha's think?
