Chicagoland "Last Fling" Saturday Nov. 24th at noo

We are closing in on our last opportunities to call a few friends, step into a Pub, and fire up a cigar in Illinois. Should we all try to get together one last time for a drink and a smoke before we all get to busy with the holiday season?

Somewhere between Cigar King And Belicoso's is The Fox & Hound in Bloomingdale. Conveniently located in the midst of the various suburban crews: Many Chicagoland MoBsters, The MNF crew, The St. Charles crew to name a few.

I think if we do this Thanksgiving weekend we can get out of our spouse's way while she holiday shops. The "shopping for wife" alibi could be used. This is right by Strattford Square Mall so you could actually shop before you head over. She'll be so giddy that you spent a day shopping for her, she won't even notice you smell like smoke.

The Fox & Hound in Bloomingdale it is.

Saturday Nov 24th at Noon-?

I will try and make it. However, it does not have to be a last fling MTBarrels, a new brewpub in West Dundee, has a cigar shop on the 3rd floor with a dumb waiter to bring up food and a nice bar.

Doing ok, spent all my free time in the summer on my Harley so not much time for anything else. Now with the cold creeping in have some time to dedicate to my other hobbies.

It sounds cool. The rub is that I feel obligated to buy at a B&M when I buy most of my cigars online like most of the forum users. It feels weird walking into a B&M with a big Herf-a-dor and passing out cigars when the guy who owns the shop is dependant on the sales of his cigars for his survival. But...

Good to know. I look forward to enjoying a smoke with you there some time.

Will try to make it. The day after is my birthday, so I guess that's reason to celebrate.

The "shop" is part of a restaurant / brewpub. I have taken in smokes on several occasions. If you are spending good money on beer and/or food they really dont care where the cigars came from. Having said that they do have a really nice humidor setup
