Although I take care of my DuPont, it takes its use and abuse pretty well. Sure the lacquer has fine scratches and the lid has a nick from a free fall onto my porch...BUT, it gives it character!
 At least that's what I try to convince myself of...it keeps me from crying everytime I see a scratch on it.
