Sounds pretty good. Tonight is a simple roast chicken, brussels sprouts with bacon, black pepper and parmesan shreds. crispy yukon gold potatoes with dry ranch seasoning.

Tomorrow? Briskit tacos!

would have been better had I added the vinegar, it needed acidity to cut the savory/sweet. I guess I will add some sherry vinegar on the reheat.

Too much moisture, Perhaps? I've had that happen on chops I haven't patted dry before searing.

I believe you are right, the shrimp were mushy, frozen then defrosted, that sucked the life out of it, plus the tomato was watery. I should have cut back on the stock.

WOuld be best with fresh shrimp, use shells and tails to make a stock, etc.

Fideos is an interesting variation off of paella with pasta...

Last night had dinner at our friends house. Had paella with fresh baked rolls and a Victorian sponge cake with lemon curd.

Last night I had an 8 oz. crab cake at the Crabcake Factory in Ocean City, MD. Tonight I'll probably have a steak at the Bull on the Beach.

When I'm on the coast, I try to eat nothing but seafood.
