Skip James and JB Lenoir... I was very pleased to see these two representin'...
As far as JB goes, I prefer the CD "Mojo Boogie"... his time signatures and chord progressions were so ahead of his time, IMHO. and Skip James... get his Complete Recorded Works (from 1931) and/or the Vanguard Sessions. Not everyone's cup o' tea for sure, but classic recordings. Like Robert Johnson, ya gotta enjoy that early style blues.
