Nice work! Top one kinda looks like the one you sold me when you came out of restoration retirement lol. I can’t begin to tell you how many compliments it gets from people who come over to hang on the patio and smoke cigars. I’ve heard story’s about how so and so’s grandpa or great grandpa or uncle has one ‘just like it’ and then where it was located, or what kind of smokes that person liked, What color the glass ashtray was our shape, etc. I use mine daily, it’s a wonderful addition to my outdoor man cave!

Hopefully another CW will be a proud owner of one of these soon.....

This is one my son-in-law made for me. It is all car parts, a cam, a rear view mirror from an old caddy that still had a thermometer on it.

I have a standup ashtray in my Man Cave. It was originally in my Dad’s office at General Foods. Not his personal office, but in the office for smokers to use. When that office closed my Dad bought it for $5 so that my brother, a cigarette smoker at the time, would stop throwing cigarette butts everywhere and put them in the ashtray. After my brother moved out the ashtray went into storage. Once I got a Man Cave it moved in with me. It’s far from perfect, and doesn’t get used much, but it’s still pretty cool.

Not a stand, but an end table for the patio my son-in-law made using all suspension parts except the top.

IMO with the backstory it's very cool!
