What are your thoughts?
Ok so I've asked for suggestions before and think I've finally formulated a game plan. I live in Arizona and during the summer time cannot keep my house below 80-85 degrees. That being said I need something to keep my smokes cool ... don't need any outbreaks! So based on previous reponses I've decided to go with a thermoelectric wine cooler.
Specifically this one: http://www.winehardware.com/index.as...ROD&ProdID=512 As I can keep things up in the 64 degree range (The highest setting I've found thus far in a wine cooler). What I want to do is remove the metal shelves and replace them with Spanich Cedar Shelves. Figure I can order it from here: http://www.rockler.com/ecom7/product...ferings_id=832 here: http://www.thewoodbox.com/exoticwoods/spanish-cedar.htm or here: http://www.bargainhumidors.com/bh/it...SKU=ACC-LLINER My questions are as follows: 1) If I do this will any damage occur to my desktop humis if I place them in the wine cooler and simply run it at 64 degrees? 2) If in addition I decide to place beads in the wine cooler so I can store boxes in the bottom will my desktop humis be damaged having a humidified environment both inside and outside the box? 3) Does this sound like a doable and more importantly a good solution to my forthcoming problem? Thanks in advance! |
