Just got in a gold Avo double blade punch and was pretty disappointed at it's quality, or I guess, lack thereof, for the $84 I paid. Sure, it's pretty, but both the top and bottom half appear to be made out of plastic. The gold plastic/foil type covering over the plastic body already had a chip in it on the bottom, right out of the box. On the top part there is actually a wrinkle in the coating that has a rough edge to it. That will be the next area of the finish that breaks off I'll bet.

Blades seem sharp but I really expected it to have a more authoritative heft to it for the price.....Hell they should have just made the punch out of a solid piece of brass. Gold colored and hefty. There's a thought.

Anyone else disappointed ??
