Spanish Cedar/Mahagony Question

I was wondering the differences between aging Cigars with mahagony interior and spanish cedar interior. So here are my questions.

1. What is the difference between mahagony and spanish cedar respective to aging of cigars?
2. Will glass, plastic or sealed (wood) humidor provide aging as well?
3. Is there a difference between veneer and solid wood in terms of aging?
4. Are there other woods that provide good aging properties?

Thanks you, your comments are much appreciated.
