A big thanks you to dpalmer for sending me these cigars
The Brick is a 5 1/2x60 monster. Nice light rosado wrapper. There were some black dots on the wrapper no sure what they were. Oh yes this is a very box pressed cigar.
The taste was medium body cigar. It started of with alot of spice, like black pepper, but it did enhanse the taste. Great volumn of smoke, it sort of hung there very thick. Tasted nutmeg and cedar. At one inch picked up caramel and sweet cedar taste. The taste grows on you and is enjoyable. Became smooth and mellow at 1 1/2 inch, Stayed with a nice sweet tobacco flavor.
Burn was even and produced a light gray ash. No flaking and didn't fall of until the 3 inch mark. Draw was easy, just right.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this cigar. Nice surprise, can't wait to put a little age on these. I'd give it a 7.5, with just a little more depth I'd give it an 8.
