I just received one of those wonderful digital pen hygro/thermometers. Very cool device but I have a couple of questions relating to it:

1. A sticker on the pen says "+2% @ 70% RH"; I am guessing that this means that at 70%, the pen reads 72%. Is this a correct interpretation or do I have it backwards?

2. Is the pen intended to be left on all of the time or just for a while to get a reading? What do most of you that have them do? And if left on all the time, what kind of battery life can I expect?

This pen is named the "Traceable Humidity/Temperature Pen" from Control Company of Friendswood, Texas purchased from good ol' http://www.bargainhumidors.com !

Thanks!
