Unless I missed something, it appears that all CO units regardless of where purchased are entitled to the same warranty service. If the rules have subsequently been changed, their (CO) documentation enclosed with the product should be revised accordingly. I think CO should best bite the bullet on this to ensure customer confidence (and happiness). The CONSUMER need not suffer. My 2 cents again.
