I went to a concert here on Maui last summer called "A Tribute to Abbey Road" featuring Jack Bruce, Todd Rundgren, Alan Parsons (who acted as musical director), Christopher Cross, Mark Farmer (guitarist/singer from Grand Funk Railroad), and the forgettable Eric Carmen of the Rasberries. I'm sure there were a couple of other performers that I can't recall now...

They played a lot of Beatles, especially George Harrison songs (Rundgren did a killer version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"). They also did a couple of hits from each performer. "Hello It's Me" by Rundgren, "Captain/Closer to Home" by GFR, "Sunshine of Your Love" and "White Room" by Cream, and "Eye in the Sky" by Parsons (who said it was the first it had ever been played live) were memorable.

Bruce did a solo version of "Eleanor Rigby" and forgot the words. He pulled out a lyric sheet and started over - it was great!

It was a fun show by a bunch of rockin' geezers.

Loyo, Rundgren did a lot of great Beatles covers in the past. Enzo, they are all playing with their own bands and all together as well. If you go to Gelnnhughes.com there are great photos.

I saw Frank Marino in Houston with Ronnie Montrose so long ago, Ronnie doesn't remember it. And being a Robin Trower fan means I know Jack Bruce is awesome.
