Saw him on Friday and all I can say is WOW!!
I know tickets are pricey, but if you can go, I highly recommend it. He played for 3 hrs., mostly Beatles tunes, awesome visuals and sound and his band is unfreakinbelieveable, esp. his drummer, Abe Laboriel Jr. I'd give the show an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10.

I'm WITH ya WestSide! I was always a big Beatles fan, and finally got the chance to see McCartney in Atlanta [i]several[/] years ago. It was his first tour to play Beatles tunes (Tripping the Live Fantastic was recorded on this tour)....and it was Awesome!

I work for one of the television networks here in nyc. a few years ago, McCartney was to appear on one of the shows. I had heard his equipment was loaded into the studio, and thought it would be kind of a thrill to see his piano. As i was checking it out, a few of the stage hands were running around, in walks McCartney, he sits down to check the tuning of the piano. I'm about 10 feet from him, I crap my pants, he begins to play Let it be. My mouth drops, all movement in the studio stops. He finishes, looks at me and says "Well seems the ole piano is fine, what did you think?" I crap my pants yet again and can only mumble, "Yes, it's great."
He looks at me smiles, flashes the peace sign and says "cool!" and leaves the studio. Normally I'm not star struck but hell this was Sir Paul! A ilttle story I'll be telling me grand kids some day.

Very Cool Chess Nut! I would have crapped in my pants too!
I didn't get to meet him, but it was kinda fun the way in which I got to go see him. My sister won a local radio contest, she won, took me, and we got airfair, Limo service, and hotel w/the concert. It was like a dream come true for me. ....finally seeing my boyhood hero!
