I don't browse youtube nearly as much as I probably should in search of music.

Will be on the road for a while today, so I will have a chance to give a good listen to a playlist I put together as "finish line" music for a race I direct here in Mobile during Mardi Gras, The "Joe Cain 5K". Of course all of the music is "upbeat", "make ya wanna dance" stuff with a theme of Mardi Gras throughout. We got some Professor Longhair in there along with Dr. John, Harry Connick,Jr, Satchmo, etc. designed to provide a FUN atmosphere at the finish line for everyone!

Changed gears JUST a bit today. On the way to a jobsite was in the mood for some Zepplin, then on the return trip shifted to some Dwight Yoakam.

Saw Dwight in concert a couple times. Always put on a great show. His lead guitarist at the time, Pete Anderson, should really jam.

Besides the 4S, I really enjoy the 50s & early 60s Doo Wop music. Of course, Dean Martin and Perry Como are also my favorites.

Today was one of those days where I wasn't really sure of what I was in the mood to listen to. I happened to pull up some Alison Krauss.....turned out to be the perfect choice, I love it when that happens!!

I think I'm in a Randy Travis mood today.

On a flight the other day I was in one of those moods for lonesome melodious ballads. So Turn the Page by Bob Seger, Something In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins and Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me by Elton John fit the bill rather nicely.
