Hello. I would like to have a contribution from your experince. Are the French made CREDO real so good as their reputation ??
Or nothing special in their formula ??

Nothing special. There aren't many chemicals which are inert, don't evaporate, have no odor, and regulate humidity at 70%.

If it's from France, chances are that it'll suck. Go to bargainhumidors.com and pick up a basic Osh-Kosh for a high quality, inexpensive unit.

Yes and no. You have to balance the Oshkosh against storage. It is a MUCH larger unit that many are used to. It will consume the space of about 12 Churchills.

It does have some benefits of HUGE reservoir so it can go for months between filling, large surface area so it can handle much larger humidors than a typical humidifier, and brainless refilling where you open the cap if you see fluid you are OK if not you need to fill it can't get any easier than that.

Yes the Osh Kosh is bigger than the average device, but it fits well in the Vicksburg and Gettysburg humidors.

My Oshkosh is sitting (in it's cedar holder) in a drawer being neglected. My big humi got a cigar oasis, and the Oshkosh is too big (puts off too much humidity) for the smaller 50ct Humi I've got. Oh well, maybe I'll have to buy another large humi so I have a use for my Oshkosh.

wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a pound of the climmax beads and make a unit out of a travel soap dish? I have a pound of the climmax 1lb material on order and thought it would be great in the coolidor I am curently trying to stock/overstock. Just have no idea how much to use in a 54qt cooler. PS I use credos in my humidor but they can be a pain in the ass.

Actually, it isn't. An Oshkosh is about the same price as 1lb. of beads at this point. A 54 qt. should manage with about 1/4 lb. Once everything gets humidified, you should rarely need to add water.

Well Guys I personally would only use the same humidity control system that the Museums use for their priceless art, if it was available, Oh wait......It is....and damn if I don't own the company.
Of course this is just my opinion and perhaps I could have a bias.
