Best Way to Brew a Cuppa Coffee?

I like good strong/flavorful coffee... usually make by the 20 oz. cup or so.

What is the best way to brew it?

So far I like the French Press method cause all you need is a press, coffee, and fresh boiled water. Plus tons of good flavor. I just gotta quit breaking my dang glass pyrex pots. The replacement pot costs almost the same a new one.

Any methods that are better or I am missing.

Just made myself a single cup through filter and it tasted like that Bunn crap they have at the Coffee Mess at work. Even using my own good coffee.

I buy Fair Trade Organic, various beans depending on what is for sale... the French Roast is pretty darn good for the price. Other blends are good but aint worth the extra $2-5 per pound IMHO.
