Insulating a cabinet; yes or no?

I am still in the process of building my cabinet. Some serious progress is being made. I have a question regarding temperature. Will insulating the walls between the mahogany and spanish cedar help keep the temp. down? Not so worried about up but down. I am using an accumonitor for humidification. The house gets in the 80's at times and my existing humidors get too hot on the inside. Don't really want to use ice bags or get an air conditioner for the few days it is hot. Thanks in advance.
