The "bone dry" element has no way to "suck" moisture out of anything...It's a piece of foam...Wetting it with water alone may cause too high humidity in that sealed container...I prefer to use a few drops of 50/50 PG/water solution on the element of my fiver caddy...It's the only place where I still use PG...In my larger Otterboxes I keep a small pouch of beads...
