Newbie temporary storage question.

Hello,

I'm fairly new to storing cigars; I've been smoking them occasionally for years, but always smoked whatever I bought the same day. Now I'm smoking a bit more, to the point wherre I'm keeping a small number (~5-10) of cigars on hand.

I had a bad experience with a "tupperdor" completely turning some cigars into mush, so I stopped using that. Now my setup is simply a sturdy (fairly thick-walled, closes well) all-wood cigar box with a couple of the Humidipak Fuente humidor bags in it. I'm working on a more permanent solution, but is this okay for a while? I can tell they're certainly not getting over-humidified, and the humidor bags haven't dried out, so I'm assuming it's keeping things fairly well, but I'm obviously working with unscientific measures here. Am I okay in the short-term, or do I need to get on a better system ASAP?
