Cauliflower and broccoli rice substitutes

I was diagnosed with diverticulitis 6 years ago and it will be with me for the rest of my life. Common condition as you get older. It can also get worse as you get older. Small hard foods like popcorn hull, seeds from varios foods cause problems with my gut health. So I had to give up popcorn, recently rice. I can eat hot peppers but I have to remove the seeds.

The rice is a recent food that is now causing problems with my gut health. Sucks since I love rice. Now I’m looking at foods I can substitute for rice.

I was told to try cauliflower and broccoli. So I got both at the grocery store, shoved it in my Ninja blender, and turned it into this

I was told to microwave it for 3 to 5 minutes, and butter spray, some seasoning, and use it in place of rice in rice dishes.

Any advice on prepping and seasoning?
