CAO Maduro Toro
CAO Maduro Toro (55 X 5-1/2)
I extracted this cigar from a box pass a couple years back, so I don't know it's age. It is of more recent vintage as it has "Maduro" on the wrapper instead of the previous "Anniversaire". The wrapper was jet-black with a few mottled light spots here and there. The construction flawless with a straight burn and loads of smoke. I found it to be a full flavor cigar of medium strength. I didn't pick up any nuances, for me it was a straight-forward tobacco flavor, and very enjoyable. The flavor profile held steady the entire smoke. I burned it to the nub without picking up any bitterness or harshness at the end. Smoking time was over an hour. Overall a good smoking experience. While it didn't leave me seeking a box purchase, I certainly won't turn one away in the future. |
