Cool spell. Last night, picking up my son at the airport from a ROTC trip to Hawaii, it was 95 at 10:40 p.m.

Today, my cousin stopped by and we went outside in my backyard, under shaded trees. Our normal smoking lounge is under the carport, but it was SO HOT under there (mid 90s..).
Much cooler in the shade. I smoked the same brand cigar, that I've wondered about, the past few days..but under the shade..not under the carport. Smoother smoke, no bitterness...no harshness..slow burning good draw, good flavor. From the same box as some I thought were just bad, when I smoked them under my carport. This is all at the same address. I know cold temps affect cigars, but apparently very hot temps, or lack of air/wind movement..must affect them too. Thoughts?

Sure - it's all part & parcel of the same phenomenon.

Well, I'm dealing with temps in the 100's+, and RH no higher than 15% that I've checked with my own equipment.
When it comes to a wet cigar, it should only take a few hours before it should be GTG. It's just the temp that sucks. Even with it getting dark here at 7pm, it's still over 100 by 10pm most of the time.

I bet that sucking hot dry air through a WET cigar is a better experience than sucking HOT MOIST air through any cigar at all...
