Forgotten cigars found at the bottom of my humi...
You know how every once in a while you stick your hand in the pocket of your jeans and come across a twenty dollar bill that you had forgotten and left in your pocket? Well, I'm smoking a cigar like that right now...
A couple of years ago now, I went to a Perdomo event at a local tobacconist to celebrate what was, at the time, the launch of the Perdomo Estates stogies. They had a roller there, and if you bought two, they would toss in a third for free, so I ponied up for four belicosos and got a couple of freebies... anything to help out the local tobacconist, plus it seemed like a pretty good deal. After I got them home, I remember thinking that they were OK, but nothing too special... Fast forward to this evening, when I found them at the bottom of my humi and finally decided to try one--this has turned into a darned fine smoke, full of flavor, with a smoothness and some spice. Just the thing to puff on while I sit out on my balcony and surf some political websites in anticipation of tomorrow's celebration of democracy... Keith (who makes it a point never to take the important things, like democracy, or the little things, like a fine smoke, for granted)
