Blend of 60% Tanzanian Peaberry, 30% Ethiopian Longberry and 10% Yemen Mocha Mattari to help get Saturday on it's way.

Later on, a bottle of Domaine d'Aupilhac 2001 with dinner followed by some 12 year old cask-strength Lagavulin.

OG FT Sumatra Takengon... it's pretty good. Roasted it earlier this week.

Jazznut, how would you explain the Tanzania Peaberry verus other beans? I got a pound of 'em and caint quite explain the flavor differences.

What I like most about TP is its bright, fruity flavour profile and fine balancing acidity. This is a bean that shows at its best when between a light-medium and a medium roast.

Also makes for a good hit of caffeine in the morning.

By blending it with the Longberry and Yemen, you arrive at a slightly fuller-bodied coffee with nice chocolate overtones.
