Not bad, would have been better if Stephen Stills passed the audition. My band does a feedback drenched version of Stepping Stone.

For some reason, I always liked the frantic pace of the single "Going Down".
(the B side of "Daydream Believer")

When I was 5 or 6 I thought they were fantastic. And Stepping Stone is pretty good. Almost respectable for a Saturday Morning goof.

They did one called "door into summer" that is on my car stereo disk. Like it. the folk songs were good, I don't care much for the pop. They were, for what they were, good music.

When I was a kid they were really popular and I liked them. I liked their pop rock style music, even their bubble gum style songs. They were like an American version of the Beatles, even their tv show emulated the style of a Beatles movie.

I thought Mike Nesmith was the coolest. Who knew his mother would go on to invent "Liquid Paper".
