Back at Christmas, I got a letter from one of my cousins. In it, she mentioned that one of her daughters is in the Army, and stationed in Iraq. I started working on a care package right away, but wanted to make sure it was personalized.

So I called my cousin last night, and over the course of our conversation, it came to light that her daughter LOVES coffee.

She even has a coffee maker over there. So I casually ask "Does she have a grinder?"

"Yes, in fact she does."

So as the cookies were baking, I roasted up a buttload of Nicaragua Maragogype Laguna Verde and Bolivian Organic to send to Iraq. Baked fudge and good coffee - I hope that makes Capt. Bouland's life over there a little easier.
