I am a big Scofield fan, but I haven't seen him in a long time. I saw him twice in the late 80s for both the Blue Matter and Loud Jazz tours.

uberjam has been one of the best new CD's I've heard in the last couple of years. A kind soul on here also sent me a copy of Blue Matter and Loud Jazz last night. So far, i like 'em.

The Sco I've heard, I've like a lot. He's pretty innovative without being so "outside" that it hurts your ears. He plays with very interesting tones too.
