climaxx media vs. beads vs. PG

Hi all,

Ive read much the above mentioned ways of humidifying, so i ahve a good grip on that beads are the best way to go, but I want to be sure that this truly is the least amount of maintanaince.

I have used a basic "credo" type humidifier in a desktop humidor successfully for years. It has gotten to the point that it needs charged and before purchasing PG solution or replacing the foam, I thought I would look into other media. I tried some water crystals that can be purchased from Walmart and they work great, but I have to add water much more often than I did with the foam. this makes me lean toward the beads, but I'm wondering if I will have to add water any less than I did with the foam. Do those of you who have replaced foam with beads have to add water less often than you did with foam?

Also, is climaxx media the same thing as other beads say from Heartfelt industires?

Thanks,

Visser
