Sol,
I am often the odd ball on these things. I hate the Oasis. I think it over complicates the whole process. With all of those little bundles of beads around the perimitor of the humidor, when the RH begins to drop it is quickly remidied by placing a shot glass of distilled water in there. Two LBS of beads do keep the thing like a rock at 65 RH. Also, during the hot and humid months the beads absorb moisture, thus helping to absorb excess moisture.
