The draft is on ESPN and will be Tuesday, Aug 27th at 8:00 PM ET
Only 8 days until our draft...better get your research in and more importantly be sure to log onto the site itself before the day we are scheduled to draft. You might want to consider dong a few mock drafts to see how the system works so you have no issues once our draft begins. It seems like every year we have at least one person who can't get on the site or they aren't able to make draft picks so take a few moments so that you don't have any issues with our draft.

I drafted stupid last night. 11 of 12 forces a bunch of bad vs worse decisions.

First time I ever smoked a cigar during the draft!
Maybe it helped? ESPN has me 6th, I think I did pretty well, took a couple flyers. One year somewhere along the line, I am going to do a bit better in preparing, and I will, just for gits and shiggles, draft an all-LSU alumni team and see how they do. Well, except for QB, since there are none in the league at this time, except for Danny Etling now of the Falcons. He has little shot to stay on the team, unless he can transition to another position. Let's see here, that would mean QB ? RB: Leonard Fournette Derrius Guice Alfred Blue Nick Brossette Darrell Williams Spencer Ware WR: Odell Beckham, Jr. Jarvis Landry D.J. Chark Malachi Dupre Travin Dural (unlikely to stick with the Saints) Russell Gage J.D. Moore (even I had to say WHO?) Russell Shepherd Cyril Grayson (ran track at LSU, no football, local New Orleans Catholic League player) TE: Foster Moreau (Raiders) And a defense that has at least one player, which could be quite easy for LSU.

I'm taking a completely different strategy this year.
I think RB is going to have a tough injury season. I usually end up with a top heavy roster at WR, when they are plentiful and can be picked up as the season progresses. This year, I concentrated on TE and QB not only because of my shitty draft position, but also because there really isn't much depth at either position and I'm better positioned for trades. Kelce and Cook at TE is solid and as good as a WR, especially on flex. I think Mayfield is going to be a sleeper and end the season in the top 5 QB if he stays healthy. Backing him up with Prescott and Trubisky is a power play, IMO. We will see. Winning is fun, but I really enjoy just playing. It's about the only gambling I indulge in.
