Stove Info?

The wife and I are looking to buy a new stove. Trying to figure out WTH to buy is difficult with all of the info and ratings out there. These are great, but people also say it sucks in significant ways. How do you figure it out? Just throw the dice?

We're looking a simple gas stove.
  1. About 5.0 cu. ft.
  2. Self cleaning-not steam cleaning.
  3. 4 or 5 burners.
  4. Solid oven racks and control knobs.
  5. Something more than just "High/Low" on the knobs or stove front.
  6. The ability to cook and bake at the same time and not get burned.
  7. Ability to use a 12" pot with other pots/pans on the cook top.
  8. $750 or less, if possible.
Is this too much to ask for?
