Nica Libre?

Who has tried the nica libre cigar from CI? It looks really good but all thats left are boxes to buy. Anyone try this cigar yet? The cigars they are comparing it to are some of my favorites.

I've no memory of trying these, why not go for a 5 pack - heck pick up a daily joe deal and you get the free shipping.

looking on the CI site, the comments are mixed

if they are good then the box price is attractive

yeah I think last I looked they didn't have any 5 packs left but they still had boxes. Not very expensive under $50 or so. Just didn't want to buy a box before trying them or hearing a review.

Nica Libre

I just bought a box. I figured they were cheap enough. I'll let you know what I think next week once I get them

Wow first post and you are offering to help a fellow BOTL out. NICE!

If you turn out to dislike them I will gladly buy the other half a box off ya. If they taste as good as they look than chances are I will be buying a box myself. thanks

Welcome to CW!!!! You will find a lot of people just like yourself on this site!!! Write a little something in the smoking post telling people what cigars you like and your hobbies and you will be sure to meet some great people.
Of course they will turn on you and bomb the crap out of you when you are least expecting it!!! (If you don't know what I"m talking about, go visit the Backslaps and High Fives forum.)

Good cigar esp. for the $$. Has more of a taste similiarity to the Padron thousand series than the Anniversario. Very good draw, burn and construction.

These are currently on the CI weekend spotlight. I might have to buy a "blind" box.
