I don't know what the difference is between those two models but I have a Solis Maestro Plus and think it works pretty well. I use it for FP, drip and espresso. It is clean, quite and has static only at the FP setting. It is not the ideal grinder for espresso but it can grind fine enough to choke my espresso mashine and even has a Turkish setting.
